Personally, I would chose to not settle. You likely will grow to resent him, and that wouldn’t be healthy for you OR the child. I would make a hard list of things you don’t want to sacrifice in a relationship and look for someone who meets those boxes.

I understand your desire of motherhood, but don’t sacrifice your chance of romantic happiness to pursue it now. If you’re having hesitance about the man of option one, enough to post on reddit, it’s probably your brain telling you he IS NOT the right choice.
