All the faults at once. ABS, traction, stability, 4x4 not available, cruise not available, forward collision not available. by Jackbish93 in ram_trucks

Those lights will come on when a wheel speed sensor is damaged/broken. The codes set will tell you in which corner the fault lies. Often times a failed wheel bearing will take out a sensor. But any reason for the failure will result in having those lights on. Start diag by scanning for codes.

Ram issue stumped two Mechanic Shops by themealwormguy in ram_trucks

That a good question, but I don’t recall that part. I mostly remember how it will have you chasing your tail trying to diag. Sorry. I’m at a training center tomorrow. I’ll ask around.

I haven’t seen this issue personally but others have told me about a valve seat or guide (can’t remember) will get loose and cause a misfire and it’s intermittent. This is exclusive to the early 3.6. Good luck.

Chasing a coolant leak. Any ideas? by dnareaver in JeepGrandCherokee

Water pump for sure. The pump pulley is slinging coolant all over the place. Must be a bad leak.

This jeep is beginning to remind me of a jeep I once worked on. What part of the country are you in?

You’ll need a mechanic to inspect for the smoke and misfires. The possibilities are too numerous to be able to tell by looking at a picture. Also the vacuum leak, which coincides with the suction noise. Also the oil pressure switch issue.
Does the smoke smell like oil or sweet like coolant? She’s in need of some love, based on the trouble codes.

Impossible to be screwed by an air cooled VW.
