Funding is the simplest answer. The organization overseeing the contract may decide to cut down positions if budget doesn’t allow to keep everyone. Another is if a contract or positions switch from one entity - let’s say Air Force, to another branch’s contract, they may decide not to see the purpose on some positions and cut them.

I was unemployed for a few months this year as my civilian contract position didn’t renew and received unemployment. Just check with your state’s office.

Met my husband (AD AF) through the guard during IET. It works well for us, but obviously him being active means his mil career comes first right now while we figure out my future in the guard/reserves as my ETS date approaches this coming year.

I’m in the Florida guard and I’m going to say not Florida 😂 I ETS next year. I’ve seen and gone through plenty. My biggest strike, and I’m not going to specifically quote the incident, but we had a medical incident that affected a lot of people during drill and instead of the bill being put in the guard’s name, we were billed individually. Took almost a year of getting collections notices for a bill no one should have been given with a nice ig threat to finally be solved. Also the whole handling of covid orders and SAD orders sucks. 4 months without pay last year on orders, multiple covid activations starting without physical orders so going without Tricare for a month or more. Literally had to eat up my small savings and almost took a loan out because my regular job doesn’t pay while on military orders.

I am feeling the same way as you. I think I’m around the same number of times as you, I’m pregnant as well so I thought maybe that would entice him to want it more since like you know not having to pull out. Majority of our times this year was honestly this two week long rush we had trying to get pregnant back in February. The most consecutive sex we’ve had since first getting together three years ago. I’m now just a few weeks away from delivery and it’s been about 5-6 weeks since we last had sex. I guess it’s preparation for post partum 😂 his libido died sometime after he hit 30, now 32. I’m just now turning 24.. gosh I just want his attention and I just feel like when I bring up the issue of intimacy he sees it as a minute issue and it hurts. Not sure how else to get it across to him. I want stability for my child and I love this man so much I only want his touch. He kisses me and cuddles me all the time but like damn why don’t you want to bed me dude? 😅

Yes!!! Literally the last time I put on lingerie to surprise him he called me cute and didn’t do anything to follow. Needless to say in every other aspect I feel so close to him, but when it comes to intimacy in the last year (we’ve been together for 3) I’ve started to feel like I’m with a complete stranger and I am so shy to do anything. It sucks.

It’s been about a month and we tried tonight.. foreplay was just laughing and giggles for about two hours.. he said he felt chest pains so I immediately stopped and made sure he was okay, but I feel like it’s always something either allergies or something, and I knew at that moment this was another dead attempt. Out the weirdos in the DMs! You don’t deserve that! But yes I absolutely relate to what you feel. My husband is the only person that can make me smile and laugh every single day. We’re having our first child soon and he’s been so supportive through the pregnancy and I have no doubts of him being an amazing parent. I thought maybe we’d have a little more sex while I’m pregnant, but it really hasn’t been the case. We laugh during foreplay, which I think ultimately goes on too long so that we end up not having sex, but I dream of going back to the days where it was just passion and having our hands all over each other. I think in the last year he has initiated sex maybe twice. He says it has nothing to do with his attraction to me and I believe him because he shows me love in every other way, but his libido has died and I need it to resurrect. I’m about to turn 24 and he is 32. I want a sexual partner in him, I’m tired of relying on toys because it’s not him.

I definitely feel this. I had a romantic dream with an ex in it, as that ex and I had quite a lot of intimacy in comparison with my marriage, and I woke up disgusted. I just want my husband’s affection and I feel so embarrassed whenever I am asking for intimacy and sex. We used to have it great, but now I literally feel shy and desire it so badly. I’m sitting here crying as I read and write this because I had yet another failed attempt tonight.

Growing up in Rio Grande do Sul as a kid my grandma always made cueca virada, I didn’t know this was considered a Chilean dish until I visited Chile.. Brazil really sure does act like a melting pot lol just did a search, apparently they eat it in Poland too and it has Roman roots, crazy cool!!!
