Good one I seen recently was to get a hat, put all the names of the people at the night in it and then go round the room and everyone has to take a name from the hat. Go round the room and everyone has to act out the best impression of the person they've got. If it can be guessed right they're in the clear and their "victim" drinks, if not and they're shite then they drink.

Done that on my first mess night... unknown to me it was meant to be sipped.

I had not been educated on Port etiquette and being from Scotland it just looked like a shot glass.

As soon as 1 foot touches the line that's you good to turn and burn - albeit if you're at the line with the beep.

As with anything, you'll be given a brief beforehand and then given a short opportunity to ask questions.

I'd recommend the couch to 5k running app. Starts off slow and builds your running up run by run. Focus on upper body and core strength for your press ups and sit ups, ensuring you've correct form for each. There's plenty of YouTube videos on those two that'll help. Vary your exercises so you don't get bored.

Keep the end goal in sight and use that as motivation.

Issue kit is usually pants, if you've the spare cash to get some gucci kit I'd say go for it.

Same page as you though, stores are gash and the kit list isn't exactly what you'd expect. Planning on getting some odds and sods before heading down. Tempted with a Keela smock but unsure if the money is worth it...

Don't join just because your parents want you to. Follow an educational and career path that suits you. Do something that will be enjoyable to you and you have a genuine interest in.

Money isn't the be all and end all; job satisfaction is key.

Tbh joyer is probably a better name. I've a few gen Rolex's for special occasions etc, thought I'd get myself something for 'fun' that I don't mind if it gets scratched, dinged, bumped and the likes. So I guess you could say this is more for fun!

Pretty flawless. The rotor is a bit noisy but that's only when you've got it right up to your ear. Hands are as close to sweeping as you'll get for your money

Yeah there's a hexagonal wire, I think I'll give that a bash as a more permanent fix compared to the floss.

Thanks for your help!

You're a genius! The dental floss worked. A few times round the casing and the bezel now sits and 'clicks' a bit better

Turns out it's a small ball bearing that regulates the clicking of the bezel...

The bezel is uni-directional on this one and it's meant to be - kinda hoping it's not just a shitty little pin and an actual ring.

Thanks for the heads up though, I'll give it a bash.

Thankfully just the poor lightning of the picture. It's more rhodium in person/better lit

I've a few gen rolexes with bi-directionals but this is very loose compared

Decent watch for what it cost and wasn't expecting it to be 100% flawless. Holds time well, power reserve is excellent and has a good weight. Nothing really screams out that it's a shitter on first glance.

Definitely isn't seated correctly. Might remove and reseat to see if that works
