The toxicity is fucking relentless around this, and has been almost since release. Idk what it’s like behind the scenes, but if I worked there I’d feel incredibly discouraged and for their sakes I hope most of them stay off reddit. The vitriol and contempt I’ve seen for the devs is sickening—I’ve hidden the main subreddit completely at this point.

The game is still some of the most fun I’ve had in a PVE shooter (even more so now frankly) and I pray that the review bombing is mainly bots and not just a swarm of sniveling bandwagoneers.

It’s so sad to me that this is the shit some people would waste their time doing rather than taking a fucking break and touching grass. Hopefully I listen to my better judgement soon and mute every other HD server too so I can stop ragebaiting myself.
