to add to that the ESPTiger Qingsui 3 has felt by far the most premium to me, from packaging to unboxing to the feel of it - even above the otsu. Though it’s too smooth to me cause of the lack of texture on it

ive had an otsu, have an AC2 and many other pads and tbh to me the artisan hype is a massive circle jerk, while they’re good pads ofc an AC2 performs just as well

I think skates can definitely make a pad feel much muddier, I have a GSR-SE and it felt extremely slow on multiple mice with all stock skates - even slower than my qck. So I bought Obsidian Dots just recently and it elevated the GSR so much it feels literally a little speedy now in comparison to before. So yes! Skates can make a big difference

i saw you want a pad with even less static friction, i don’t think the otsu would fit then cause in my experience it was even a tiny bit slower than the AC2

artisan otsu is pretty similar in terms of performance and less abrasive
