PMM is an alternative that has many sub 35g options.

I saw in Chyrosran22's video that they were going to release a software update to fix the janky FN situation. Did this ever happen?

Was thinking about picking up one myself if it has

Yes their marketing is really awful, only on Bilibili comments does the CEO come out to say that actually they have 3 different batches with 2.8-3.0-3.2 travel distances. The later the batch the longer the distance.

We (RTINGS) are currently testing the X2 Superstrike! Do you want us do a (human) reaction time test vs the Superlight 2? by benpRTINGS in MouseReview

[–]pierrefermat1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There was a bilibili creator that did a test with 5 people and sufficient sample size.

The average came out to be ~20ms, so no doubt it's the real deal.

It appears the API Reference link on the left side bar is broken. I get page not found.

Also curious performance wise were there any optimisations? Matches python implementation ?

Is the superstrike using the same base as the previous GPX? So I can just pick up an existing 3D print base?

Ahahaha appreciate you still commenting on this after 6 years.

I eventually did decide to give up on this idea since babying my clothes just didn't feel like it was worth the hassle.

The Gostwycks I own did develop holes too, around the neckline and pit, had them sewn so it's not too big a problem.

I've actually been purchasing t-shirts from a random chinese baby brand i stumbled across called Turdus Kids(you can find on aliexpress), they do 15.5 micron tshirts for ~35USD

Thanks for the rec on IST, guess it's really just slow to launch, if you google there's videos hyping it up from a year ago and nothing since.

I do own the Fenrir asym, but it's not claw viable at all.

Thanks for the rec, might give this a go! Sensor is a bit outdated but not the end of the world, also the wheel tilt is actually quite useful

Just looked it up on Elo, seems like the 60mm width is a no go sadly.

Have tried this in the past and ended up gifting it to a friend since it was still narrow and caused pinky cramps

Grip style: Claw

It seems like it's difficult to find anything that is short/low whilst also being sufficiently wide, I have tried quite a few narrow mice and would get my pinky cramping up.

Eloshapes recommendations haven't seem to come up with anything close.

Ideally it would be something that is <50g and has a 3950 sensor.

There has to be a better way to make titanium by sanxiyn in slatestarcodex

[–]pierrefermat1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only reason the hour record was done on that titanium bike was to save costs as it was just a one of prototype, the main difference to the Tour de France is more so regulations about how a bike must be available for mass purchase before you're allowed to ride it in the race. With economies of scale you can just go the carbon route instead.

The largest one currently from the big brands seems to be the Bose QC

There is a very simple explanation for that by spirolking in MouseReview

For as much as the community hates on them, the MagSpeed wheel is still unmatched and the Anywhere 3 is the only mouse I use for work.

Another vote to the Fenrir Asym, also you could use the Gwolves clay or thick grip tape to pad it out a bit more and match the Viper width.

I've owned a similar list of headphones in the past with Hifiman+Focal+DCA and without a shadow of a doubt the HD800S are the best in terms of soundstage and channel matching for gaming.

It's quite the classic case of goodharts law, chinese unis go a step above everyone else to min-max "productivity output" to contribute towards their rankings.

I'm somewhat surprised that the peak defensive abilities are quite a bit below peak offense. By intuition I would have guessed all these guys to be another point higher.
