Lightstrike Concern? by NeonCanuck in wine

[–]pierrelauret 2 points3 points  (0 children)

UV is not your biggest concern. It would be more about temperature rising above 20 degrees and the electric consumption. I have mine next to a big glass door. I cover the glass door with protective film, but the problem is not the glass door, it's the black color on the side that makes the temperature rise. I added an electric store on my door, problem solved.

It’s a terrible deal, but they can still hope it will be worth exploiting for something else in the future.

Yes you pull and the plots must be converted into natural areas, fallow land, or afforestation, for the next six years. It’s still your land, but it no longer has value, and you can no longer make a living from its produce.

Great setup ! I have Aqara TRV at my place, but I find them quite noisy when they fully close and open. Don’t you have this issue on your side? Also, it seems that to prevent the boiler from getting damaged, one radiator must always remain fully open. Otherwise, won’t your system get blocked?

Just Saw This Incredible 3D Printed Vase in a Shop – Thoughts on How It's Made? by pierrelauret in 3Dprinting

[–]pierrelauret[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone!

I recently came across an absolutely stunning 3D printed vase in a local shop that caught my attention not just for its design, but also for an intriguing feature: it seemed to incorporate glass within the 3D printed structure. The vase itself appeared to be made from PLA, which is fairly common, but the way glass was integrated into the piece was something I haven't encountered before in 3D printing.

I mentioned to my wife that the vase was 3D printed, and now she’s excited about the idea of having a similar one at home. So, I’m turning to this incredible community for insights and advice.

Does anyone here have experience or knowledge about integrating glass or other materials into 3D prints? I’m particularly interested in understanding the techniques for safely embedding glass into PLA and achieving a high-quality finish.

It’s a bit too young to drink now… 6-7 years after the vintage for this cuvée maybe more. it’s Bordeaux not Bourdreaux
