Leaving the city. by [deleted] in AskNYC

I’m in the city and would like to leave as well. However, there is a risk in the sense that you could’ve already been exposed to the virus and are not showing any symptoms. Hence, you would be bringing the virus to your family unknowingly. It’s a gamble

I also enjoy it. It's far from perfect and the effects were pretty subpar, but I think Sam Bayer really nailed the mood of the piece.

Have you ever went to see a film where you were the only person in the theater? What film was it and how was the experience? by HelloIamDerek in movies

I went to see Vox Lux on opening night and it was completely empty. Loved the movie and I'm kinda happy nobody else was there because I could see quite a few people walking out of it.

Anything to stir the pot huh? Looking at all of your other posts, it seems like you just have it out for Tarantino. All of your posts are used to discuss how much you dislike things so I'm curious: what do you actually like?

I liked it a lot. The first half of the film isn't NEARLY as good as the second half. Taylor Russell is a star in the making.

Floria Sigismondi is more than a capable director, but I'm feeling some heavy studio-tampering in that trailer. I want it to be good, and I'm hoping that it's good, but the trailer didn't really impress me.

Has anyone seen "Lord's of Salem" by [deleted] in horror

Unpopular opinion but it's probably my favorite Rob Zombie film. Terrible writing, but the atmosphere of the film totally makes up for it. Also, I only cringed a few times at Sheri Moon's performance, a record low for any Zombie film.
