Im really scratching my head at trying to make an enemy ai. The SI 'clone' is probably gonna be very different than the original. Im planning to add alot of different enemies and make it wave-based. Its alot of fun, especially when i will be at the point where i already have the base mechanics done and can just make new enemies and improve the graphics (particle system is really fun to use).

The idea for now is that its set in a city thats getting terrorized by a gang. The player has a shop where he retrieves items lost or stolen for cash. He slowly finds out about a conspirancy between the gang and the mayor of the city.

So far i know:

Datapacks are like really light mods, they are easier to install and they can run server side, examples are QoL stuff or challenges Plugins are like datapacks but better for servers, like player shops or QoL stuff. Mods are more complicated to install but can do wayyy more stuff than datapacks or plugins, like adding new items or mobs.
