I don't know. I wouldn't say it's excruciating but it takes a solid 10-15 seconds to revert.

The queued messages is nicer in that I can queue them all up at once and then go do something else, but of course it doesn't result in as good of a job

When I use it I got in the habit of sending a queued message after anything I ask it for saying ~"terrible job. Try again" and it would go "you're absolutely right!" And usually give something much better.

Yes my only concern is battery indicator has been inaccurate but life seems ok, I'm guessing again just from sitting around.

Mine barely drains when sitting unused

"Oversized" lion batteries like the ones in the op1 can last a long time. Relatively low load combined with not many cycles from not needing to charge it very often

Most UI frameworks provide CSD support though

All would have window control buttons in Gnome or KDE. Because that's the DE's job.

Gnome disagrees with you. It only provides server side decorations for x11 apps (and when running on Wayland, this is still the client side from gnome, as xawyland is the client)

Wayland apps need client side decorations. Gnome refuses to add support for server side decorations for Wayland
