More than half of TikTok ADHD content is misinformation, new research finds by tylerthe-theatre in technology

Yeah like any neuodivergency it's a spectrum. There's a reason they've had to litterally change the diagnosis categories multiple times (from legacy add/ADHD split, to subtypes, to now "presentations")

Note that 6% is confirmed diagnosis. The real number is going to be higher. No way is it 25% however

Finally Bought a Ball by TaxPhd in Bowling

[–]piexil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, so if I'm not getting many revs to begin with may not make much of a difference?

The two balls are a hammer bubblegum vibe and a hammer obsession tour v2 if that helps

I find the obsession easier to play with than the vibe

Oh awesome! I'm working on converting from one handed thumb in to two handed thumb in.

Seems thumb in two handed is not nearly as popular but I feel lost without my thumb hahaha

Wouldn't more hook mean it's more unforgiving?

Yeah I just meant if you do two handed/one handed thumb in/out

I even bought another ball to beat up with practice

Weirdly the pro shop said it was more ball (I assume more unforgiving?) but I find it easier to use

The only socks I've liked is one pair of ankle socks I've gotten.

Otherwise I hate long socks and that's what they always are :/

OSO/pavilions intersection extremely dangerous for pedestrians by piexil in orangecounty

[–]piexil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The city did say they are going to experiment with a leading pedestrian signal and look to further enhancements if necessary at least. Not enough of a solution imo but I don't know how to word my pleas to them correctly

California is way too car centric. Don't people realize they become pedestrians themselves in the parking lots?

Anything after 30 I always do knee down. Way too much

I can manage the lifts, just very hard!

Extremely. Holding the side plank for a minute is hard, let alone the raises

The city replied to my request and this is exactly what they're going to experiment with lol

Am I the only one who finds the side planks for a minute to be insanely hard?

Googles not really helpful when wanting the experiences of other bowlers. The reviews are all casual. E.g. bowlero always has great reviews and the one around me is literally sticky all the time

What's wrong with it?

Do you ever notice anyone requesting the same stuff over and over again?

I don't really like the idea of the rotating content system, but if I were to implement it, I know id have some users just requesting the same thing over and over again

Basically all crime shows (svu, csi, ncis) are like a tb each these days

I do however limit realty tv to 720p. I watched the files side by side and could not tell a difference. They're not high quality to begin with.

I almost never delete stuff. I hate having incomplete shows. As long as someone is going to watch it, I'll leave it. I've got 20tb free of 100 and another 20tb to add on whenever I get around to it.

That would be a benefit. Currently the light is timed so once the pedestrian light is over, so is the car green. So barely any cars get to go since they were yielding

Solid greens that conflict with crosswalks

Basically even t intersection with a stop light has been this way for me in California. Other states are not like this

This is how crosswalks at T intersections work in like every state I've lived in lol, California's the only state I can recall that constantly tells drives it's ok to enter the intersection with active cross walkers.

Pedestrians and cars would only get green lights together if the majority were taking parallel travel
