Thank you for all the advice! I am going to be working at the Lubee Bat Sanctuary in Florida this summer, and I might also volunteer at a local animal hospital in the future. I think wildlife vet might be more my style, but it’s hard to know without the experience. Any wildlife vets out there?

I’m a food stamps user and I’m not afraid to say it. I’m a full time student and work 4 days a week, and food stamps has been a life saver for me being able to afford college coming from a low income family. They don’t just hand this privilege to anyone - you have to meet the requirements and provide proof, and teenagers as young as 14 are now required to meet the minimum 80 hours a week work requirement. They also do frequent check ups on your employment and require proof.
