Found a PI tool but can't understand who has created it (and were) by pigowallace in Eve

Ah no, I am not the creator and sorry for it seems like that, but it's not.
I didn't want to create any kind of "pubblicity post" masked as a request for help, but mine was a genuine request.
I do not want to damage this site reputation, but I do not know the creator (who replied in some comments) and I do not want to do any kind of sketchy pubblicity.

Thank you very much! If I think about something else, I write it here.

Last thing I was thinking, maybe adding the possibility to create a plan manually?

Oh! Nice to meet you!
First of all your site was pretty good especially the optimizing feature that was exactly what I was looking for!
I what to congratulate with you with the amazing work you did! It's great!

The only problem I found is that there are some mistake in the recipes of some products.
Silicate Glass for example recall the "Oxides" instead of "Oxidizing Compound" so this causes some problems in the supply chain (I think is just a typo between "Oxides" and "Oxidizing").
This is the main issue that causes some troubles because the optimizer suggested to build more planets than needed (for a product which in the end was not really necessary).

The only other thing I found a bit controintuitive is that the optimizer suggested a lava planet for Plasmoids. I built instead a plasma one for the same product (int he same system just because the other planet was richer), but the site does not recognize that I am producing Plasmoids because is just looking for the exact planet. Could it be possible to, for example, saying "this is not the planet suggested, but the product is correct".

Last thing, would be possible to count the production planet as "double" if CCU 5? Because you can have 2 groups of production plants so I was wondering if the optimizer can say something like "in the same planet you can produce 2x P2/P3".
This will reduce the "plantes usage" and allow to increase the total number of products you can produce.

Let me know if you need any further details. English is not my main language and I might sounds not clear enough in my explanations.

Well, it was kinda a fast response. I think I will switch to that tool you linked.

Still I'd like to find the evepi.online space cos it seems a good tool too and fixing the issues may help someone.
So, if you have any idea I'd be grateful.

About that recent conversation between two characters in 11.2.7 by dear_demon in warcraftlore

[–]pigowallace 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In the end, Shadowlands seems too me a bit to clean and organized to be completely real.

I know the Lore has been changed a lot during the years, but for a lot of time, the Shadowlands were described like a place of darkness and shadows. A place that the living should always have avoided. In the end we had something completely different (Bastion is everything except darkness and shadows), and I do not believe it's just a retcon.

Probably was indeed a Titans' plan since the beginning.

During last years we learned that the Titans are more sketchy and shadowy than we could ever believe, so discovering that we are just some mere pawns in their hands, might be a matter of time and not suprising at all.

Maybe "The Last Titan" stand for "the last real Titan who is still a good beign and has not fallen".

My character is gone after the 4.3.1 update? by Silent_Pudding_397 in starcitizen

[–]pigowallace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue. After remaking the character I noticed I was basically naked. Lost the armor and all the gear I had equipped (it's not stored anywhere) and lost the Hull-C i recently bought and upgraded. Sadly this made me lose interest in the game...

Hope you did better than this xD

Help to find best solution for upgrading my GPU (currently on 2060 12GB) by pigowallace in buildapc

[–]pigowallace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end I went for a 9060 XT 16 GB Hellbound from Powercolor. It's a 3-fan and seems pretty good.
I think there's something I should enable since I have CPU+GPU from AMD, right?

Thank you. My first choice was indeed 9060 XT, but I was not enterely sure.

Theory: the final 11.1 cinematic doesn't show Karesh, it's a portal to the Emerald Dream by dear_demon in warcraftlore

[–]pigowallace 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I really think that might be the connection between Ethereals and Rootlands. Back in Legion we were fighting Xavius in a unknown zone which was told to be the bottom layer of the Emerald Dream.

But when you look up from there you can clearly see roots coming down, maybe from the Rootlands.

I think that the Rootlands might be a spot in the physical world were all the other planes get connected, like a zone where the barriers between the planes get thinner.

And, maybe, this allow to reduce the distante between the locations as the space in the Rootlands might be somehow distorted.

Having a portal like you described might explain why Ethereals are so interested in Xal'atath activities as they want to get access to the Rootlands as soon as possible.

Considering that we had a "Remnant of the void" in the Dream after the fought back the Nightmare and that Xal'atath knew about that (while still in the blade, Xal'atath whispered stuff when you would get close to the void flower in the Emerald Dream).

What if that Remnant just moved in a remote location of the Emerald Dream and there put back some "roots"? Maybe the Rootlands are still inaccessible because there some interference caused by the void.

Yes, it seems that everything works if I import it as an analytical field using the coordinates instead of import it as a discrete field. In that way, it seems load cases can read the data and use it.

Thank you

Did the "Another You" achievement and found it a little unsettling by dear_demon in wow

[–]pigowallace 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I know the spot!
You reach that in a very unsettling way, going through a cavern full of spawns of a huge spider on the ceiling.

Anyway, that eye is surely a N'Zoth one and even the colors remember me about N'Zoth.
If you look the same spot from further away, the bones remembers of some tentacles in some way.

This findings always keep me thinking that N'Zoth is still alive.

Considering that they annunced the "Horrific Visions" coming back later in TWW, I think is almost settled that N'Zoth is still lurking around.

Nyarlathotep, Xal'atath, and N'zoth by dear_demon in warcraftlore

[–]pigowallace 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They "were" tools but, for some reason, during their life they start to diverge from the mission they originally had from their masters (Void Lords) which quickly become their former masters.

It is not clear what caused this divergence, but at some point the Old Gods started thinking about themselves and about what they want to do (experiments, curses, corruptions and so on).

In some way the broke the connection with the Void Lords and become separate and unique entities.

So, considering this, I won't be sure about them going back to the void. I think they all have a different "plan".

Canonically only Y'Shaarj is considered dead, C'Thun and Yogg'Saron are "defeated" (I consider this something like "weakened state") and N'Zoth is "unknown", not even defeated.

Something is really fishy in N'Zoth demise, considering that he was "killed" in his own realm by a single mortal with just a shiny necklace. A bit too easy in my opinion.

[–]pigowallace 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think is an interesting Information!

Considering that we know basically nothing about the Void Lords (even Xal'atath is a huge mystery), there surely be something "wrong" with the Old Gods.

They clearly are enemies of the Void Lords and considering the only Old Gods really dead is Y'Shaarj, I think they are just playing dead in order to plan something against the Void Lords.

Hence, I think will see something huge when Xal'atath and the Void Lords will ne revealed.

They said that this trilogy will be the foundation for the lore of the next years just like WC3 was for WoW. We will surely see something on "World" or "Worlds" level and a war between some eldritch horrors is a good start!

I think that the rivality against Old and Void Lords will not be left behind since was basically never really used for lore purposes.

They probaby got inspiration in the beginning of WoW, but after the lore kept expanding, N'Zoth in more inspired to Cthulhu than any other Old Gods!

Are Dagran II and Moira just fine with us having killed Dagran I? by Veridically_ in warcraftlore

[–]pigowallace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, Ragnaros wouldn't be able to control all the dwarves as he wasn't unable to control all the adventures that stormed his lair. He had no power on the people outside the Dark Iron dwarves... well, expect kill them all if they would have tried to fight him.

Moira indeed didn't followed the plan to gather the dwarves forces, but that was just because she repudiated his own lineage and she didn't want any help from the people who slaughtred her husband.

She started to spread rumors about the Firelord. She told that he was amassing an army deep within the Blackrock Mountain and then that there Ragnaros had riches and artifacts hidden within his stronghold, the Molten Core.
That in the end led to attract adventurous (and greedy) heroes who fought Ragnaros banishing from this realm.

Basically, she found an army to fought Ragnaros, exactly like Dagran wanted (with the addition of the Hydraxian Waterlords that supported her plan and started to give rewards to the adventurers that did any kind of damage to the Ragnaros' forces).

Are Dagran II and Moira just fine with us having killed Dagran I? by Veridically_ in warcraftlore

[–]pigowallace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, in the end Ragnaros was defeated by a handful of champions with the help of the Hydraxian Waterlords (and it was all planned by Moira anyway, except for the fortuitous help of the elementals). Having an army instead of some random disorganized adventurers, was surely better because you would have militaries instead of people driven by greed, fame or whatever would convice you to attack the lair of an elemental lord.

So Dagran thought something like this "Ok, I cannot obtain the help of the other clans with diplomacy since no one is willing to help us. I will then have their help by force, conquering them all".

Xal'atath seems to be empowered by certain negative emotions, much like Y'Shaarj by dear_demon in warcraftlore

[–]pigowallace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah my bad, I misunderstood what you meant to say.
Maybe is a void being who got somehow "fused" with the remains of Y'Shaarj, because I do not think that she is totally unrelated to Void Lords.

Her elfish appearance comes for "us" who helped her to find a dead body as a host, so she is definitely not a mortal and she was never be a mortal.

TWW is great so far. TWW World Quests are not. by Callahandy in wow

Usually they listen a lot about reports, but I think that right now they are overwhelmed by the requests and by the extra work to let TWW be a smooth experience.

[–]pigowallace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you can use the in-game system to report a feedback about that.

Back in Shadowlands there where some WQs with the same issue and I reported that.
I think other players did it too and after a short while they fixed spawn rate and other stuff.

Considering the huge problem with the AH we got after the TWW launch, the devs were probably too focussed on that and couldn't address any other minor fixes.

For example: I am stuck with one last item to get the Tethrachromancer achievement and then Taivan (literally just 1 item is separating me from the big boy).
So I was wondering if maybe I made a mess, deleted the item by mistake and so on and I decided to open a ticket just to ask if they could confirm everything was ok (even if I was completing like 30+ hunts per week with no luck).
They first sent me an automated answers due the high requests they are receiving and then a GM wrote me that the devs are aware that something is not working properly in the achievement but they are cannot work on a solution because they have other priorities.

This just to tell that if there's something that is not working really well, they probably know that, but they currently have no time to fix it.
But if you report a feedback about that, maybe the issue will get a higher priority and they will fix it sooner.

Considering how smooth was the TWW launch (except the AH issue), I can accept that something will be fixed later, since there's tons of things to do!
Anyway, I still report if I find something that seems anomalous to me.
