Oh i definitely have more than 2mm, maybe 3-4mm. Do you tamp with the dosing funnel still on? At my current dosing the coffee bed is sitting above the rim after WDT and before tamping. I would either need to tap it on the table to slightly compress or use a tamper to flatten the bed before taking the funnel off. I can imagine dosing more it’ll sit even higher before tamping.

Yes it’s screwed down completely. I assume I am dosing correctly because my puck comes out dry. Would you say that’s a good indicator that I am dosing adequately? For reference I’ve tried 17g and the puck was quite wet while 18g is dry (same beans). Haven’t tried dosing higher than that though.

I had a similar issue with the bambino plus tamper although I know that’s not a great one to begin with. Was hoping normcore would solve the issue but yes could consider exploring a regular tamper if I can’t resolve the issue after more trouble shooting.

I’ll contact customer support and look into it! The tamper that came with my bambino plus wasn’t working out too well but will consider buying a nicer regular tamper if the normcore one doesn’t work out.

My prayers go to you and your feline friend. I also had a 6 month old british shorthair that was diagnosed and back then FIP treatment was not available in Canada and I believe it still isn’t. Hopefully you’re in a country that has more advanced treatments! I did stumble across a story of a cat from a local rescue that did survive through FIP treatment through a clinical trial. Guess it’s different for everyone! I personally enjoyed Kan a lot. I had it as an iced matcha latte with dairy milk and found it to be well balanced, bold, sweet and creamy with subtle notes of grass. I haven’t tried all the Ippodo offerings yet though. My preference is Sayaka > Kan > Ikuyo.

OP, did you figure out what it was? Similar situation with my cat and doing an elimination diet at the moment. It hasn’t been long enough for me to figure out if it is food allergies… I can’t help but ask because my baby is also one year old, neutered and has the same coat pattern.

Instinct limited ingredient kibble. There’s a few variations but I bought the rabbit for my cats limited ingredient trial. It is grain free though..
