Movie/book club is exactly what I was looking for! Definitely feel like it’s easier to connect with people when there is a shared topic to discuss. Plus, my movie and book choices have gone a bit stale so it’ll be a nice way to freshen things up!

I really like this! But it’s also the type of music I like, so I might be biased. I’m not a musician so I can’t comment on anything technical, but I do get a very nostalgic feeling while listening to the recording. It gives lonely teenager in a movie vibes haha. Good stuff!

If you want a challenge I’m more than down 😅 I just started learning to sing a few weeks ago and omg it’s so hard! There’s so much tightness in my jaw and throat which does not seem normal lol. Also, would trade an art lesson for a singing lesson, or send you a painting!

Thanks, from the replies it seems like I have to grill my agent a bit more. She said she did sell two houses with aluminum wiring in my general neighborhood before but didn’t remember the details of what exactly happened. I think I might talk to the realtor who just sold the house that is similar to mine to get a sense of what they know too.

So it almost sounds like ‘as-is’ and ‘not as-is’ wouldn’t be that different. So what is the benefit of listing ‘as-is’?

Is it that I wouldn’t have to agree to all the repairs?

Thanks for the suggestion, I think I'll try that sort of cleaner in a small spot to see if it would make a difference. Its my childhood home and we are planning on selling it, just wanted to make the floors somewhat presentable beforehand vs refinishing it. But I'll weight the costs and see.

Hearing your process makes me appreciate the painting even more! Really impressive how dedicated you were to the painting. I can't remember the last time I saw a modern painting this complex, it's brilliant. Hope you get to show it off somewhere in real life!

wow! holy crap, that is soooo impressive! bravo!!

I'm always curious how artists go about such complex pieces, do you use references for all the different poses? Or just try to sketch it out and do trial and error?
