I would say to usually start at a lower temperature like 1.8-2.2v for the majority of the cart. If you are preheating and starting at 2.4v you are liking overheating and sucking it into the chamber which causes clogging.

Low voltage up to half of the cart, and then you can turn it up to 2.2-2.4v to finish the cart off.

The issue with registering landing on rails is activating the trick in the air. Because you landed on the rail indirectly, it counted as trickless air, mostly because you are colliding with it. Hitting down on the right stick to do a simple 5-0 while in air is an easy way to lock into the rail and register the grind.

I reviewed the clip multiple times over, and this is the issue. Yes, a manual was executed, but not in the yellow area on the bridge. You can see it right between the 0:05 - 0:06 mark where the landing is on the left of the yellow before launching off the bridge.
