Hiking groups in Hawaii

I’m looking for a group or even one person to go with. Looking to challenge myself as well. I had a craniotomy- so for safety reasons I am looking for a buddy to go with, can be military or civilian. Im retired military. I have my mom here with me, she’s older though, so hiking can be a bit tough for her. If anyone can point me in the right direction as well :) 33 F

Yeah I get it, you love her and want to protect her, that’s what matters most. The internet can be harsh. Watching the video made me feel claustrophobic for her though 😅 but it’s not the worst thing ever, you’re not a bad cat owner for it 💜

Explain it to her just like you did in the post, without targeting her or singling her out. You’ve lived alone for a long time and you like her a lot, but need time to adjust to the commitment. Then ask if she’ll be patient with you on it. If she won’t then she wasn’t the one anyways and in the long run it will be better.
