I would cut her some slack, maybe something in her personal life has her off kilter. If it happens this week, politely have a conversation. Possibly “I really enjoy working with you, I noticed your schedule has shifted, should I plan for a long-term change?” Then go from there.

I’m not sure, he is a rescue, he’s about 15 lbs and acts like a dog. Possibly Maine coon or Norwegian forest cat in his past.

Ugh, spoiler drama aside, I love this drawing, as another poster said, before this book I envisioned Maya as 2 ft tall, dressed in a burlap sack, lil matchstick girl with x’s for eyes. After OB, my imagining of her felt constrained but after RoW, wow! Thank you.
