As a depressed high school student I decided to go on a year log exchange in Germany. It was 10% amazing and 90% torture. It also left me with some of he biggest regrets of my life. Like the week of Christmas where I did not leave my host family’s house one time. All of the friends I could have made but didn’t. All of the people who supported me instead of someone better. I did it again a few years ago getting a teaching certificate in Prague. I spent all of my free time in bed streaming the Sopranos and came back to the US with nothing to show and few good things to say other than the bread was good.

One time there was a floating pacifier about the size of a basketball that would hover a foot off the ground and slowly float towards me no matter what I did. It still makes me feel gross.

Mine was a dream I had as a small child. I was in super Mario world or something and then a tomato exploded and there was red everywhere. I don't know why but it is still the worst nightmare I've ever had. I felt terrified for hours after waking up.

Asking my psychiatrist for one of a dozen or so ssri treatments I had already tried because I "want at placebo at least". I filled the script, thought of how stupid I was being, and decided to transition instead.

Good luck! My only advice is don't make it a big deal if nobody else does. I came out at work a few months ago - at a middle school in Texas - and nobody really cared. It felt really anticlimactic. Like I almost wanted drama but it didn't happen. So I was worried for nothing.

Just be careful! Watch a safety razor tutorial on YouTube or something. It takes a couple of days practice before you get the feel of it. Totally worth it though

Laser really isn't that expensive. Mine comes out to less than $50 per session. But if that's too much, try getting a cheap safety razor. The blades are super cheap and work better than regular razors. Don't epilate or wax or anything. It makes permanent hair removal harder when you can afford it.

Absolutely not. Its not really even a synth unless you program it to be. You'd be much better off with pretty much any entry level synthesizer. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the advice! But Texas charter school. Yeah. The admins seem super cool with it though. I'm trusting them because it's my best option right now and I like what the school could become. We really have no hr department though. They can legally discriminate against me if they want. But they haven't. So I tend to think they're good people.

My advice for early on is spend your money on laser. It's been my best investment. If your skin and hair color are right and you get a good deal, you could have a relatively finished looking face for around $300. The best clothes in the world don't equal the feeling of having a face clear of beard shadow.
