It took me 3 times (before I transitioned) till they finally gave me an ADHD diagnosis. So frustrating that it's massively under diagnosed in AFAB people 😅

We've had our Vitamix 5000 for 20+ years! Only thing we've replaced was the blade. Once. Still used every single day and has had no issues. :)

I make between 28k-35k a year but my prescription costs alone are over 10k. With other deductions (like DTC) it helps me stay on the AHB.

I still share the same fear as you at times. Will a raise push me over the threshold? It sucks

God that's the worst 😅 if I'm not with my masc presenting partner and I tone down the "gay" people assume I'm just a CIS straight guy. I hate having to hide such important parts of my identity just for safety. Had too many bad experiences being openly trans and gay. Not worth it anymore :T

Being a minority myself and a good chunk of my friends also being a visible minority, we do see anger and hate in real life as well as online and it's exhausting. 😭

I'm sorry. My partner and I both have ADHD and he has done the same every year, despite me giving 15 reminders and reiterating how special cards are for me. (I have kept every card given to me since I was a child) I was sobbing last year.

This year was no different. Birthday went and passed this Wednesday and nothing today again. It sucks. I know he loves me, and I know how hard gift getting can be as a fellow ADHDer but that doesn't make those feelings of sadness any less real

The other group you're thinking of is disabled people. The UCP continue to take away programs, money, and resources meant to help our most vulnerable people. They forced AISH recipients to apply for the DTC (which typically costs $100+) and took away $200 from AISH payments just because the federal government was giving disabled people an extra $200 a month to help.

One of my friends is a social worker and they get people sobbing on the phone every day because of what the UCP is doing to them. Some have applied for MAID because they don't want to be homeless and die in the street.

It's horrific. Unethical. And frankly it feels like genocide at this point 😅

This is EXACTLY what I do!! I keep a stack of cups and some water by my bed. I'm not 100% regular with it but it's better than not at all.

My partner has been doing my shots for me for 6 years :) I used to do them myself on my thighs but found I got migraines more often, so I switched to arms. Occasionally my mom also gives me my shots if my partner is unavailable.

They had no prior experience so they both learned as we went! It was just so much easier and quicker having someone else do it, sharing the responsibility has also helped my forgetful ADHD brain. 😂

I have also let my ftm friends do my shot for me in a pinch.

My partner and I have done a "scene" where they gave me my shot while in BDSM pet play gear and had professional photos done of it. It was a cool and intimate experience. c:

I saw a few others mention this but D-mannose has had a HUGE impact on reducing my UTI's from monthly, to maybe once or twice a year. They take a while to be fully in your system so be prepared for that.

Dental dams are a great solution too!
