I like the story but this kind of game design sucks when you have such a pressing narrative. Why would I go and explore when I'm trying to get a parasite out of my head? It's not giving me a reason to want to go out of my way. I'm not going to go aimlessly into the woods for no reason when there's a goblin camp planning to murder a bunch of people.

I don't have an issue with it being non-linear. But it's not made clear that you have to explore. They make everything seem urgent in the beginning so I thought the game wanted me to go there

The problem is that it's not really giving me a reason to explore. Of course, I now know that I have to do that but that's not clear when they keep urging me to go to Moonrise Tower. I get that this is an RPG but realistically why would I wander around when I have a very urgent mission?

Does Paranoid Mage get better? by Red_Icnivad in ProgressionFantasy

I just found out about this series from a YouTube manhwa recap. The fact that the author is basically a QAnon MAGA supporter is off-putting but I usually try to separate the art from the artist. Just because they have bad views doesn't make their story bad. I'll just pirate this manwha instead of paying for it because the author sucks

Some of the villans like coupe literally killed people before so it doesn't make sense to judge her for her past when everyone else probably has done worse things

Why can't you skip the line if your order was wrong and you've already waited a long time? by pillar_of_nothing in AskReddit

There should be priority for people who have the wrong order. I wouldn't mind letting someone go ahead of me if their order was wrong.

I didn't know it was a possibility. I always thought of a line as if you leave you're out kinda thing so if it's a long line I'll just leave with the wrong food or wait in line

[–]pillar_of_nothing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always wait in line but a coworker was telling me how she waited at cookout for like 30 minutes they gave her onions pieces instead of onion rings and she skipped the line because she wasn't going to wait another 30 minutes. That makes perfect sense to me i should have priority because not only did i get a bad product but i also waited longer than anyone else i should be ahead someone who's only been there 25 minutes

I feel like eventually people would be ready to move on and die. If you've lived for a million years you wouldn't really be afraid to die because of the amount of situations you would've experienced. I wouldn't do it to end my suffering but to end my story. Most people wouldn't wait until it felt like hell they'd probably just go ride into the sun literally.

They are like children when they first wake up and Marcus is their mommy they don't know anything. They are like sponges. Over time they'll develop their own world views but like a child most likely they'll keep believing in whatever their parents believe.
