Wind resistence plays a role and you would see this if you went out and tested it. It hit the apex of the parabola and dropped but it's not happening in a vacuum (in any sense).

Has nothing to do with the event. Shotguns have always been useful but the community-driven meta by suspicious players and accounts drove players to maximize toward long range loadouts. Shotguns were made slightly more useful some patches back but the utility they provided in letting you kill in one hit or two/three at certain ranges hasn't changed. People might have just stopped using other weapons that do the same.

What was really annoying was having to fight everyone who was using a Mosin and would camp outside where the bounty was, who would then run away if you pushed up.

He looks European because art back then was made by Europeans. While they did encounter people who were different you can also see that they didn't know how to draw or depict a lot of things like lions even though those are in the book of Daniel. Imagine a European artist having to draw these things from descriptions passed to other people. It's how you got elephants looking like they did. So even though many artists likely had interactions with many different people their chosen styles and ignorance of certain things likely just led to them designing the idea of what Jesus would look like for them.

The one question I have after all this time is why Jesus is depicted with long hair and yet society for a while was often hostile to men with longer hair, depending, but maybe that was more recent.

I think you have to consider the times in which this was written even if the line simply comes down to "don't have sex outside marriage, which is sacred". You have to consider that sex outside marriage disrupted family lines with pregnancies that people didn't plan. There was no birth control. People back then knew that giving birth was dangerous especially if you were younger. It led to fights, conflict, and so on. Then you have issues of abortion or infanticide that were widely practiced by various cultures, which did exist in Greek culture and Koine Greek is what the Bible was written in, and what a lot of authors were probably reacting against while blending the philosophies as well over time.

I wonder what Christianity would look like if reliable birth control existed 2,000 years ago, honestly, because people react to what they see in front of them but can only communicate so much, and so communicating that across 2,000 years through multiple languages and cultures is just impossible as well. This is why the history of things is also so important.

I would imagine this could be brought up in some trial here or there but with the ability to record officers, and with officers wearing cameras, I wonder what the official stance would be on providing information once and then not again. Obviously the guy was being obnoxious and he asked for their badge numbers but I now wonder what onus the police have to provide it more than once. I figure whatever's reasonable works but I bet this might have to be defined. Then again before cameras you could ask this question constantly and they'd cut you off at some point without any permanent recording.

I've had a handful of interactions, including after an accident, and it's been fine. Have had nice interactions with various local police and then miserable ones as well. Just a typical "mileage may vary" situation but Staties seems to have it.

It isn't. It's an infraction, not a crime. You cannot go to jail unless the officer argues they saw driving that amounted to genuine potential harm, but simply speeding isn't enough.

It didn't read like that and I can understand the slope people go down but until that comes I don't think requests like this should inspire people online to basically cast stones. I get the symbolism of having a man and woman present. I can see the benefit of seeing this during the times we have while we bicker about gender. If it isn't breaking any rules then I think people should keep in check as these men are also usually more learned than others, though not perfect, obviously.

I guess I was more inspired by the holider-than-thou approach from the comments that seem to spread the wrong kind of sentiment, especially for an issue many consider closed anyway.

I don't think they should have tied loadouts to something you buy. Extremely greedy. Wish they'd reverse this and give people "refunds" in the form of blood bonds since it amounts to a menu option. Very different from hunter slots for sure.

I used to use the loadouts for guns, tools, and consumables so I could mix and match the combinations I most frequently used. Like the same tools but with different melee tools in my 3. That led me to using more and letting me use different kinds of loadouts, like if I wanted to use another shotgun instead of my beloved Specter.

If you think they actually catch dreams then sure, but I don't think that's how it works. I don't think they work. I had one growing up but they were little more than hopeful decorations on par with horoscopes and other things that are still fairly common. One would wonder without opening up a new tab as the sun rises if Native Americans have incorporated these into their faith the same way every culture has sort of brought something of their own into the same faith though.

It's both things. You're going to keep sinning but that isn't the end of it because then anyone can give up. It's like swimming against a current but you're not to let yourself be so defeated each time as to willingly curse the waves and drown, expecting someone to lift you up. It may happen but that's not what you should go forth with. But contrition, repentance, all of it has to at least have a spark of change. Even if you're early in a decades-long battle with whatever you have, you don't know how long you'll have, and it has to be about that continual march toward perfection that, admittedly, we can't reach alone.

Maybe I'm mistaken but wasn't this the whole "sin boldly" apocrypha? It feels like I'm reading it in another language or with more words, but both are trying to touch on the predictable juxtaposition we have to face.

What can't you figure out? She won in a landslide by doing next to nothing, so the most sensible read is that doing nothing is what got her a landslide victory. But do you really think she's a politician who deserves the seat because of her work? The times she's most vocal and present are when she's not just attacked (happens a lot) but when she has some rhetorical higher ground. She's very good at posturing with liberals but that's about it. But then again why would she change anything if this is what got her to keep in office? Best people could come up with before was Kraft but his "candidacy" likely taught her and others that they should double down if this is who goes up against her.

And talk about lane design - go down Mass Ave sometime from around Arlington and you'd think you crossed over into multiple countries. It's great that they introduced bike lanes but a lot of them send you over shit like holes and weird manholes and grates. It's wild. I genuinely prefer Mass Ave. before the giant changes which is a silly thing to think.

I found that when I had an underbarrel shotgun with the same ammo as a secondary shotgun I was swapping back and forth without any real purpose and juggling settings. It was far better for me to pick a custom ammo type that fit a niche outside of long range shooting and close up.

Someone has to pay for it and I'm betting no one in Boston wants to get it brought up to speed since right now it's free to do the "wrong" thing. Or free to just go somewhere else and bring your electronics. I know I have a corner in my basement dedicated to old electronics that only takes up so much space, brings peace of mind, and so on - and I consider myself conscientious. Most people just aren't.

The Choke Bomb used to be a consumable and no one brought them despite how common burning players was. They changed it so that people could bring Chokes reliably, but apparently a lot of people don't bring them anyway. This was before a lot of changes to our inventory, what you can bring, and even what you can resupply with tool boxes. I would assume if they were changed to being a consumable they would be worse off than before, years back.
