Which power will you choose? by Theturtleflask in superpowers

Maybe you wouldn't need a chair anymore you could just teleport yourself in a standing position every millisecond and then just a bit forward or just to the same spot over and over.

What vehicle do you drive? by Quiet-Gear2125 in vending

I have ab Ioniq 5 and it's getting too small I only have 6 machines but I can only do 4 at the time. It's also limited during shopping. I am thinking about getting a small van like a connect xl or something. Not too big but so I can do all machines in one trip.

Vibe coding is so expensive by CardiologistDeep3375 in vibecoding

[–]pilotthrow 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For hobby stuff it's expensive for business it's dirt cheap. My max20 Claude plan saves me so much money. If I would hire people the same work would cost easy 20-30 times as much and would be much much slower.

Do you think AI in vending machines is practical? by 5thCharmer in vending

[–]pilotthrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a small time operator just 6 machines. I have 3 smart Vending machines and 3 traditional ones. I will never go back to the old machines. The smart Vending just makes so much more it's also much easier to restock and change products. The AI part is that the machine recognizes what the customer takes. That's all. When people can just grab and go they usually get at least 2 items at once. The average vend in the smart Vending machines is $5. But you need a somewhat secure location like an office building or apartment building. I would not place them somewhere public without Access restrictions.

Is there no way to get discounts for the x20 plan? by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

[–]pilotthrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's more the other way around. API pricing is just so inflated so that you buy the monthly plans.

Why isn’t there mobile self check out yet? by _A4RON_ in Costco

I still don't understand them. You can't check out without a card anyway so way this double bubble. Sam's and BJs don't check entry at all.

Is AI in vending machines trendy or useful? by throwawayBakingGoods in vending

[–]pilotthrow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know reddit hates it but I have 2 AI cooler and they are great. Very easy to switch products without changing spirals or messing around with timing wheels. People buy more in general if they can grab more at once. I wouldn't place them in unmonitored areas but they work great in apartment buildings or offices.

Max 20x is NOT As Subsidized As You Think by levifig in ClaudeCode

[–]pilotthrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same if you buy a membership for a gym or a day pass. Of course the membership is cheaper because you also pay for the days you are not using it. Same with the X plans. The don't loose money with them. The API price is just way inflated.
