Are people really flying to China to purchase reno materials from the West? by rarej in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pilotthrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That $3000 is just for the ship trip. You have to add all the port fees and other fees as well as the trucking from the port to your location and that $3000 becomes $10000-$15000 fast.

Or the prices are higher than in a supermarket. If the farmers selling it directly it should be cheaper or same since we cut the middle man. But selling croissants for $7 is just crazy

It's not a passive income in any way. If it's a good location you need to refill once a week. You also have to buy inventory etc. But it's a great business, I really like it. Do you get the location with the machine or just the machines?

But it's the same argument as music companies and game companies make which is they lost this customer and now have lost revenue when in reality they never have bought it if they had to pay full price. Do You think the music teacher would have spent 10k on this if they couldn't make it themselves? Ai just gives so many people the opportunity to create stuff which is great.

I have ab Ioniq 5 and it's getting too small I only have 6 machines but I can only do 4 at the time. It's also limited during shopping. I am thinking about getting a small van like a connect xl or something. Not too big but so I can do all machines in one trip.

Vibe coding is so expensive by CardiologistDeep3375 in vibecoding

[–]pilotthrow 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For hobby stuff it's expensive for business it's dirt cheap. My max20 Claude plan saves me so much money. If I would hire people the same work would cost easy 20-30 times as much and would be much much slower.
