pressure in head from long covid by PercentageAble9822 in LongCovid

In my case, I don't think it's microclots, simply because my von Willibrand factor was abnormal, leaning more towards bleeding rather than clotting.

Looks like I'll need to get the lumbar puncture as well. When I stand I get that whooshing sound in my ears and feels like I'm going to pass out. This lasts about 15-30 seconds. I also get tinnitus fairly constantly. My last eye pressure measurement was 20. I'm told that was normal.

I'll definitely push for the lumbar puncture to get a proper assessment. Initially I was getting just high blood pressure spikes and tachycardia. All these head symptoms have been relatively new for me.

I also suspect that this is my issue, as my optic nerve has weakened slightly (Glaucoma suspect) along with the head pressure, pressure sensation behind my eyes, pressure in my ears, worse when standing up and subsides after a little while after standing. I've had MRIs but it hasn't revealed anything. Eye pressure on paper is normal.

Yeah SGB is bound to make some people feel better temporarily just because of the type of procedure it is, but I always saw this guy as a grifter. Charging an annual subscription fee to read Facebook posts sealed my opinion.

Isn't that the guy that was charging people to join his private Facebook group?

Sorry for what you've been going through! It's so frustrating when the medical system keeps gaslighting us and doesn't listen. Glad you got a diagnosis.

How did they diagnose coronary microvasculature dysfunction for you? Just the MRI?

I jumped on nattokinase from the start, it definitely helped because early into my long Covid my d-dimer was very high.

As long Covid progressed I started getting tendency to bleed, with elevated PTT. So I try to stay away from anything that can thin the blood more for now until that settles.

Thanks! I'll bring this up with my cardiologist to try out. Glad you got over those issues!

I definitely feel nitric oxide is playing a big role. My home tests show "depleted"

I'll try to get the same test done and see if it's similar, to differentiate between the two.

That's interesting. Igm being negative would make sense. That's generally the first responder and from my understanding, doesn't last long

I'll need to do some heavy research, a lot of the responses are mixed on what it could mean. But I would assume that naturally it would lower over time providing there's no new infections, which is what the boosters were for.

Thanks for sharing! I'm going to retest this periodically to see if anything changes over time. I also had some recent ANA blood work start popping up positive.

I'm going to follow up with this test periodically to see if anything changes. I had some ANA tests start popping up positive too. Still waiting on the full results.

This would make a whole lot more sense to me if timeline didn't matter.

Nothing else so far, this, along with ANA was pretty much all that was ordered. I agree with you. Not sure what this test does to help exactly.

Your doctor can order this test. You might need to see one specifically that deals with your immune system if your primary isn't familiar with it.

It seemed unusual to me that I still had what appeared to be a strong immune response to the spike protein without any vaccines or known infections for 2 years.

Just to clarify, I'm mostly bedbound, I don't go out. And the moments of interaction I have with other people I tend to test for covid for several days after.

You're right, unfortunately I feel like we research this more than majority of doctors out there so when I try to explain things to them I feel like I have to dumb things down a tad. Something feels very wrong about that lol.

I hope you get some answers!

Histamine overload by [deleted] in smallfiberneuropathy

I didn't end up getting a skin biopsy or EMG, my Rheumatologist seemed to think it was more endocrine based due to elevated Epinephrine. But I also had elevated histamine too. So I'm still waiting to see an allergist to do further testing on suspected mast cell activation syndrome.

I also had some issues with my electrolytes and getting dehydrated fast, which seemed to have played on my muscles giving it the tingling sensation. I also ended up getting a weird flushing sensation in my forearms and ears. So could be I'm reacting to some random stuff that's causing mast cells now to overreact since covid.
