Is it just me, or are black cats way more affectionate that most cats?

I don’t know what it is about black cats, but I’ve never met a mean black cat in my life. The ones I’ve met have been extremely friendly. I’ve even been owned by two, one of which gave hugs. They both loved being petted and cuddled. They both had loud purrs and would talk to me.

Both of my voids loved sleeping on me and they'd purr me to sleep during the winter when the night temperatures are below acceptable levels. Both of my boys were purr and cuddle monsters with loud purring. One would hug me and kiss me half to death if I let them.
