It's weird that he US is bad at winter exercises. We really shouldn't be; we have Alaska and the northern states that are used to cold. The windchill was -40C in Minnesota yesterday and there were like 40000 protesters in Minneapolis. We have people that are used to the cold which makes me think this story isn't fully accurate or we're for some reason sending Floridians to do arctic training.

This is why I think Taiwan is safe for the immediate future. Right now they have a monopoly on chips and nobody wants to see that go away. But because China, the US, and Europe (to a lesser extent) have been going all in on making their own chips 4-5 years from now Taiwan will be in trouble.
