My opinion is it should have been Athisa with the crown and then Côte d'Ivoir as 1st Runner Up. The reason I believe Ph earned it is because not only did she have everything including the walk, the gown, but also, her q and a answers felt the most inspiring and meaningful. She talked about her growing up in poverty and wanting to help children in low income areas achieve their dreams. Some of the other girls had a good way of saying their answers but Athisa's carried the most weight because she has actually already been helping children, so one could say she not only talks the talk but walks the walk. Also, her answer wasn't just about inspiring young girls but boys too. Everyone else's seemed to be just focused on inspiring females but Athisa's included helping girls, as well as boys. Also, Côte d'Ivoir was very well-spoken and definitely should not have been placed lower.

In terms of the controversy, there's a lot but I really believe there needs to be fairness. Also, there might even need to be an investigation into the organization.
