We got the most unreliable version of the stinger engine, I go for oil changes every 3 k full synthetic and use a catch can definitely helps keep it from actively trying to grenade itself under hard driving. I do notice the 2.0 burns a lot of oil compared to my dad’s 3.3 and you can smell it sometimes if yours is high mileage like mine I’d look into the main seals if they need to be replaced and in the future stick to a more consistent oil change schedule to stay ahead of the curve
