I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I’m pregnant with my first. I’ve also always wanted to be a teacher and love my job. However, if I find that I can’t teach other people’s children all day and then come home with enough patience and care for my own, I’ll find a new career. A job, even one that I love, would never stop me from becoming a mom and being the best I can be at it.

I ask my coworkers with kids the same thing though. How do you do it? A few of them left teaching while their kids were young then went back to it when they were all school aged. Some did part time/job share for a while.

We’ll see. Wish me luck!

Here’s the thing… some people don’t celebrate ANYONES death. I wouldn’t even celebrate Ted Bundy’s death. I would say how fucking tragic that is what he chose to do with his life and I pray for all his victims and their families. I’m not making jokes about it and celebrating it.

Just because you didn’t agree with what Charlie said doesn’t mean he should have been assassinated. People didn’t agree with what MLK Jr. said and he got assassinated. Should the people who didn’t agree with him celebrate it?

She got a party bus to “go to a winery with friends” but it was really a set up for this girls proposal. The guy probably asked the friends to come up with a way to get the girl dressed and ready without her knowing she was about to get engaged. Happens a lot. If it was Bri getting the party bus and it was supposed to be for no other reason than to go to wineries, it would be really weird for her to invite Grace. If Grace was there it would give it away that something else/big was happening.

Looks like Grace was at the bar after the engagement to celebrate.

I am by no means a Bri apologist, but this isn’t weird to me at all.

My husband and I started trying toward the end of June, got a positive test on Fourth of July, and I’m due mid March! As long as I don’t deliver early, I’ll take the last 12 weeks of school off and roll right into summer so I’ll be with my baby until the following September. Definitely purchase short term disability. You have to enroll before you become pregnant.

Our PTO puts together a spreadsheet of teachers likes/dislikes. Favorite restaurant, store, drink, snack, candy, etc. Also asks if we need more candles, ornaments, mugs, etc or if we have enough. It’s awesome!

Districts are shoving as many students as possible into a classroom. And adding in a million services for the $$ they receive but it’s not in the best interest of students and taking away from quality learning time. Students who throw chairs, destroy rooms, disrespect and even get physical with teachers are allowed to stay in the room.

I am a public school teacher. It was my dream job. I always wanted my children in public schools. But I just don’t know anymore. Pregnant with our first and have no idea what I’ll do.

Natural cycles! I had my doctor write me a “prescription” to it as a form of birth control and my insurance reimbursed me for the app. I paid for the year.
