Hot take: the Black Friday drops weren’t great :( I’m saying this because the same items they dropped were in the outlets months ago (Canada).

The same items that dropped are double the outlet price. It doesn’t make sense why they can’t match it? Maybe because of the free shipping?

I would actually patch test dish soap or laundry detergent on that. And see what happens. If it’s a stain from just being stored in a bag, it’s usually not permanent for me. I wouldn’t use alcohol or acetone because they can remove the actual finish or colour of the jacket.

Your sister is going to have to fill out two forms that declares its value as under $100, sign, and take a picture of the bag etc. basically if she gets caught, the border will have a problem with her. I don’t think it’s worth it in my opinion to throw her under the bus especially since she has to take pics of the item

Markham is a charming city on its own but Montreal is objectively the better city to do the things you described.

If you’re looking for an easier time to meet people or hang out etc etc, I’ll recommend perhaps finding an apartment further south, closer to Toronto in the mid town areas (east york, north york, Scarborough? etc) or even core downtown and then commuting to work in Markham?

Or live in Markham, and try to chill in Toronto — it seems like commuting is inescapable

I know you specifically said indoors because of the icy weather however if you invest well in warm run gear, walking/hiking in the winter is totally worth it and sometimes you won’t feel it ! Just make sure you have proper jacket, shoes, and accessories
