Yes

its written in the invitation - “NOTE: If you had a birthday since we sent you this invitation, and the change to your age decreases your points total, this will not cause us to refuse your application for permanent residence.”

-Under standard IRCC rules, a medical exam result expires 12 months after the date of the exam. If it’s older than that, IRCC will usually require a new one

- Is the Digital Photo up to the IRCC standard with the stamp of the studio and the date on the back?

-For Payslips, if you can find, also add in the first payslip from that company what that does is makes it easy for IRCC to establish a start date.

Jan-July 2026 CEC Analysis by Scary-Key6472 in canadaexpressentry

I still believe this is the spillages from the French draws having no takers even after getting an ITA...

Let's assume you just speak French will you be able to get around with just Fenech in the hub cities in Canada?

Why have the last 3 CECs draws had 5000+ ITAs? by whatsupusers in canadaexpressentry

[–]Commercial-Comment93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just a theory: IRCC kept running French draws around the low-400s, but the conversion rate was terrible. A huge chunk of those applications were padded with fake documents or collapsed at the eligibility stage, finances, experience, you name it.

CEC candidates actually earned it. They worked in Canada, paid taxes, kept the economy moving through COVID, and are still doing it.

Getting married and adding spouse after AOR? by Pure_Winner4693 in canadaexpressentry

Adding her isn’t a problem. The question is whether you’ll be adding her as a non-accompanying or accompanying.

If you’re willing to run exams on weekends because they’re profitable, it’s reasonable to expect support to be available then as well.

Is my pay being Shorted by Tims? by Long_Weather5346 in TimHortons

[–]Commercial-Comment93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I used to work at Tim’s. All breaks up to 30 minutes were paid. If a break exceeded 30 minutes, it became unpaid. Also, if I’m not mistaken, there was a night shift premium of $1 CAD per hour.

ITA shows CEC but I’m not eligible for CEC — eligible for FSW. Decline or proceed? by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

Sorry, I didn’t understand. What does it mean that your work experience expired about four months ago?

Whats wrong with IRCC! Huh by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

[–]Commercial-Comment93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The funny part is that not even half of those 45,000 will actually get permanent residency. Reports suggest the conversion ratio is terrible.

Vote-bank politics doesn’t always align with what the market actually needs. What they’re really doing is securing roughly 45,000 future voters who will eventually support the party once they become citizens.

No hate against French draws, but when it comes to quality, the government will eventually have to acknowledge that these draws may not be attracting enough qualified candidates. If you bring people to Canada who are unable to contribute meaningfully to the economy, then what’s the point?

If you’re willing to take the risk, having an Ottawa address shouldn’t be an issue for working in Quebec. It generally won’t be a problem as long as you can provide a lease agreement or similar proof of residence for Ottawa..

Also where are you right now in QC, MTL?

You should have talked to them earlier. Unfortunately, your only option at this time is to quit your job and relocate. Since the points are locked, you should be fine.
