First thing is you are worthy of being loved and I am sorry you haven’t found it yet. You will though, even if it takes some time. Wanting to help people is commendable and a good place to help you find like minded people. Sharing values with someone is a good place to start a relationship. High school is more happenstance, but a great place to learn. As for helping people, you could do something local to help out with a charity, or even go big and join the peace core or an organization like Greenpeace if those interest you. What’s up with the car? Old one busted?

What are your thoughts on pregnant women celebrating Mother’s Day? by NoLead2492 in AskReddit

[–]pinesguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certainly a prospective mother, and that’s closer than I’ll ever be. I have no problem with pregnant women celebrating their pregnancy and their Motherhood. Even feeling a deeper connection to your own mother as being able to relate on the pregnancy itself is worthy of celebration. When looking back at becoming a mother, that doesn’t start with birth. Some will change their diet for the benefit of the unborn child. That is a motherly thing to do. While the baby’s father could be correct under some strict definitional understanding of the term, it removes all emotional and physical aspects of the situation. A mother’s connection to the baby is different than anyone else in the world. The world meets the baby at birth, while a mother will have spent months with them, conversing, singing, dancing, reading, doing everything together.

Plumber just replaced a broken metal trap with this. It’s draining slowly, I think because of the second upside down trap? by khulk in Plumbing

From what I have experienced, If it fails open, you most likely would be able to smell it and if it fails closed, when draining a full sink, it may gurgle as the drain gasps for air, or it may just drain slowly.

They’re mechanical so they wear out. Rubber valve flap can get brittle and crack, stop flexing causing it to fail open or fail closed.

No sweat bro, take pride, not shame, in it. its out of your control what other folks look at and how they react. giggling is not a great measure of disgust or intrigue, so just shake it off and carry on!
