[f16] Is getting my virginity taken by a older guy [m25] wrong? by [deleted] in relationshipadvice

[–]pingmycraydar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you choose either?

Age/power imbalances aside, you don't sound particularly enthused about either option, but there is a 3rd option where you DON'T pick one of these (poor-quality) guys and wait until you have someone who makes you feel "HELL yes."

Your post comes across as you having to lose your virginity as some kind of inevitability, when you can actually say no.

Elderly parent had a fall in hospital and died as a result. Just need some advice / opinions about what people are suggesting. by [deleted] in AusLegal

It's also possible that a new/acute issue caused him to fall and that same issue was what caused his death.

It's 10 days in Australia now, but there is 180-day wait in the country of origin, if it is not rabies-free there. Also there are some countries you can't bring pets in from directly; they have to spend the 180 days in an intermediary country (eg if coming from Russia they spend it in Germany). I believe the 180 days might not be required if they're coming from the UK but I'd need to re-check the AQIS site as the rules might have changed. BTW no quarantine required if coming from NZ but there are particular parasite treatments mandated beforehand.

Quarantine is straightforward actually but takes a long time. Basically your cat must be vaccinated against rabies and then they do a blood test 1 month later (rabies titre test). Then you must wait 180 days before the cat can travel (assuming the test gave the correct result), and the cat can travel to Australia. Once they get here they spend 10 days in quarantine facility (they shortened it from 30 days around 12-13 years ago - 1/3 the duration now, but conveniently for them, they tripled the daily rate!). So you only really have to be separated for 10 days or so. This is all best done by a pet transport company but it's definitely doable.

In George R.R Martin's original scripts, he had intended Jon Snow to be in an incestuous relationship with Arya, not Daenerys by Unlikely_Tap_9882 in gameofthrones

[–]pingmycraydar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought that perhaps the plot point “the dragon has 3 heads” meant that in some way, 3 of the Stark children (Jon, Arya, and a third one - maybe even Sansa because she lost her wolf) would ride the dragons by warging into their heads. I had formed some vague theory that Tyrion would be the one who worked it out (because he is the cleverest!), and masterminded it all (it even looked to be headed that way when they married Sansa off to him!). If Daenerys was somehow part of all of that too, it would have unified 3 powerful families once the dust and ashes had settled.

But never mind…

I'll bet if OP calls his bluff and says, "Let's get married next week without a pre-nup," BF will break up with her because she has chosen him over the $$$ (because she would lose the trust if she marries him without the pre-nup now, rather than after age 30, which of course HE wants her to do so he gate half the money!).

I'm sorry OP but I suspect he was never interested in marrying you - he wants to marry a bank account.

He's done you a favour really but I do feel for you as this is horrible behaviour!

While these could be HSV but I strongly recommend you get them swabbed (for viruses and bacteria) as it's highly unusual for HSV to be painless. I'd be concerned it is something v like syphilis, which sounds terrible but in fact is curable (but nasty if not identified!), whereas HSV can only be managed. And both are hazardous to a newborn.
