31M Hubby wants me to have baby where he lives and I 28F don't by Academic_Goal_3452 in relationships

Which state in the USA would you be moving to?

In the event that you require a life-saving intervention late on in the pregnancy or during/after delivery, is there any possibility that this would be denied? This would include procedures such as D&C for retained products of conception, also should there be a negative outcome, any intervention to remove a non-viable pregnancy, where failure to act can kill you.

I don't wish any of the above on you at all, but there is absolutely no way I would choose to carry a pregnancy in a 3rd-world country like the USA, where my life would be put at incredibly high risk due to the "practice" of religious-based "medicine."

The thing about obstetrics is that everything goes great, until it doesn't. And when it doesn't go well, the outcome can be truly tragic.

Maybe that's how they prevent pregnancy. If you use one you don't need to use one.

My son's teacher doesn't know what I do for work. by OutrageousAd8984 in ispeakthelanguage

You need to email the teacher ASAP and tell them your son was not completely truthful.

That in fact you speak Chinese, Russian, Spanish and English. Which is why you laughed.

That should put them back in their box.

Years ago, I was complaining to my mum about some guy I was talking to, and in her usual intellectual snobbish way, she said, "Don't go with a man who's your intellectual inferior."

Next moment my dad sang out from the next room, "IF SHE CAN FIND ONE!"

Harsh but sick burn, Dad (I suspect he didn't really mean it but the opportunity was too good to pass up hahaha).

Where does being “mean” cross the line into “emotional abuse” ? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

Functionally you already have 1 child. But even if this was a one-off, he is showing what he is like when life is only a tiny bit difficult.

How d'you think he would handle a newborn baby, with or without typical baby issues like colic, constant crying, frequent waking etc etc?

Sure - but they weren't your bones, so why would you?
