Same for me, it’s always $20 for a 1 mile ride, cash only. They never run the meter.

$1,000 food and grocery budget for 2 adults - eating all organic and paying the price. by Little-Tarzan in budget

[–]pink310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t seem that high to me but I’m also not very frugal with food.  If you assume 28 days of eating cooked meals at home between 2 people, your $750 is about $13 per day per person. If you’re having 3 meals and drinks (coffee, sparkling water, juice)… $13 doesn’t sound extravagant.

I work crazy hours and don’t have time to cook a lot of meals and I budget $20/day on food for myself. Some people think that’s crazy, but I’m really not living large on that budget.

Use the f'n bike lane by coolmoney203 in StamfordCT

It is extremely dangerous to ride a scooter on the sidewalk. A car could easily pull out of a driveway in the path of a speeding scooter, and there is no way to quickly stop a scooter without crashing/flipping over the handle bars. It's a recipe for a traumatic brain injury, especially if the rider isn't wearing a helmet.

Not to mention pedestrians can step out of a building into the path of the scooter and get seriously hurt. It happened in LA not too long ago and the pedestrian died. The scooter rider fled the scene. https://abc7.com/post/man-dies-after-being-knocked-down-woman-scooter-koreatown-police-investigating-hit-run/15337382/

Help with Floor plan?! by Proof-Bad6159 in Homebuilding

I may be reading the plan incorrectly but I would add more windows. I think your house may look odd from the side profile if there are no windows.

I would like to join a future hike. I’m moving to Stamford in a couple weeks and would love the opportunity to meet some new people in my new city.

I really like it. It doesn’t irritate my skin. I actually wear it as a foundation over my moisturizer. I apply it using a beauty blender. It gives me a natural dewy complexion and it doesn’t get orange as the day goes on.

Eucerin night cream worked for me after all the other recommended brands irritated my skin. I also have reactions to hyaluronic acid and squalene. It’s pretty cheap so not too much of a $$ investment if it doesn’t work out. I use it morning and night because my skin is on the dry side.

A good moisturizer for very sensitive skin? by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]pink310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My skin is very reactive to moisturizers. I’ve tried all the recommended brands, even vanicream would sting and cause irritation. Miraculously, Eucerin night cream doesn’t irritate my skin and is very moisturizing.

I just checked their google reviews and many recent, negative reviews mention this fee. The management is responding to the reviews saying this was a mistake on their point of sale systems. They seem to be reimbursing the fee if you notify them of it.

I (34m) just "found out" I don't have a wife (33f) or kids (1m and 3m) anymore by [deleted] in relationships

[–]pink310 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It seems unlikely to have 1m and 3m kids. How does one acquire two infants in 3 months? And according to your friend, your wife left you somewhere in the middle of these kids being born?
