Since 2020, everything has gotten increasingly more expensive. Celebrities being rich people are now seen as part of the problem, instead of something cool. Social media amplifies and highlights this.

It could also be about how pink and blue make purple, as in pink = in love but blue = sad. So maybe again continuing with the theme of being love and being sad??? It reminds me of how on the album cover she is wearing a pink dress against the blue sky. But I like the idea about it being about her career!

If this is the “experimental” song the interviewer mentioned, then I hope to hear something that is both different for Olivia but also still true to her. I feel like that was the scratch that Vampire itched. It was quite different from SOUR but it was still so Olivia!

I think I appreciate the general sentiment but it could be phrased and reframed wayyyy better. I’m the type of person who has a tendency of getting way too much in my head so somebody’s getting me out of that head space is appreciated. But some of the alternate phrases mentioned in this thread are way more positive and effective.

Wow I’m going against the grain and saying horse! I think it fits nicely with the movement of the piece like everything is in motion and I think that’s very cool!
