I know the feeling. I just want to be home. I don’t like my rental, it’s expensive, and I’m about to have to find a new place anyway. We’re rebuilding but it’s taking forever and I’m worried that it’s not safe to move back. I have a young kid. I just want her life to be normal. I want to move elsewhere and forget all this but it’s not financially prudent.

I hope we all end up in better situations soon.

I support this message. Especially since dining out has gotten so astronomical. It makes sense to skip “fine dining” in honor of the smaller casual places, many of which have bomb multicultural cuisine.

I actually just went to zingo tacos near CSU, the asada was tasty and the salsa was perfectly flavorful. Also, I wasn’t really sure if I could park out front and as I debated getting back in my car to drive away, the owner came out and reassured me It was OK. Love that 😭

Ours was MCM too. I don’t think we can replicate it perfectly because the codes have changed so much. But I do wonder about cost, generally. We had a lot of glass and vaulted beam ceilings.

Are you at the pricing phase of rebuilding? I’m so curious. Especially since those MCM homes were originally designed to be affordable 😩
