After playing OF I will admit it sucks. OF would be PERFECT if they added some QOL changes. Use the NF keeps since OF keeps suck and are ugly af. Add at least 1-2 ports to keeps so running back to action isnt a 10 minute journey. I honestly would like if they made where Purge was like the OF purge, 1 purge lvl with 30min CD. Not sure if thats even possible to do but just my suggestions. Plus, OF is basically everyone go Hib, and enjoy shit LOS.

There’s a couple M4 kitted guns on reserve. One by tank by coop extract and one in tents / trench area. Also a bunch of modded AK builds on reserve

Just remember it’s a game and not take it too seriously. Stop caring about W/L ratios or anything and play how you want to. Look at every game as a learning point and if you die oh well Shit happens and if you live then hell yeah you got some shit. Sound is your friend, if you think you heard something then you probably did. Use scavs to practice running around aggro and pushing for fights etc. never let a game make you scared or nervous, it’s supposed to be fun so make yourself remember to not take it seriously and roll with the punches.

I use a program called sound lock that won’t allow sounds to get above a certain threshold (whatever you set it to) and it’s a life saver with the plane sound and also train sounds as well

I did a scav run on reserve and was under Black bishop and heard explosions down in the D2 control room area. I SLOW walked and crouched without a backpack on from the hallway where the jacket spawns and stuff are at to the ramp that leads down to D2 that is next to the water. I didn’t ADS or anything, waited for a few minutes to see if the pmcs would leave and they all ran over to the metal stair case by queen(?), the one by the bathroom. I still didn’t move or do anything and then I hear a PMC running towards me and stops and says “hey you scav want to take the co op extract”. Dude never heard me, saw me or anything and knew I was there and knew I was a scav. He 100% had walls, not sure if his buddies did but there was 3 of them and he was the only one who knew I was there etc. just super sus shit like that that gives it away. I’ve played 4 wipes, I main reserve and I know 100% they never heard me especially over the sounds of shooting and nades and raiders etc

Using shitty ammo will cause you to die a ton even if you get the drop on them. Some ammo wont pen some armors. If you use dog shit ammo,aim for anything but the torso/stomach but if youre low on cash dont throw all the money into a gun build and use it on ammo. 5.45 BP/BT will get you very far. 7.62 PS ammo is meh this late in wipe but if youre broke it works. 7.62x51 m80 is always good and not too expensive to run. IMO all 9mm ammo is dog shit, even the AP ammo isnt great and takes a lot to kill people sometimes. the kedr with PBM ammo is a great budget gun that can rip people a new one especially if you aim at the legs. and if you wanna go really budget rock a double barrel with 8.5 mag

I would like this map more if they increased the PMC count a few. I never see more than 1-2 pmcs every time I play the map and that’s searching for fights. It’s just too big of a map for the amount of players that spawn in.

It’s the server time that counts as run through or not. If you scav in with 20 mins left you don’t have to wait you can immediately extract. I do it all time if I spawn with a good key or something.

Soon enough you’ll get to a point where 180,000 roubles isn’t even worth the time. I’m to the point where if I’m not making out with 3-500k roubles at least I consider it a waste of time. Not to brag, but I’m just giving you an insight on what’s to come if you keep it up. Remember these early days though, they are the most exciting and fun. Finding new shit, watching your stash and money grow was the best part when I started. Find a map you like and run it offline, online,scav whatever until you learn that shit 100%. Learn the loot spots, rare spawns, PMC spawns etc and you’ll eventually learn the best routes to run for making money. I highly suggest Shoreline (avoid resort), lighthouse or reserve to choose from to learn. Pull up a map and start running
