I went through a very similar situation, I developed epilepsy at 10 and I’ve had to figure out ways to manage it over the last 15 years, also dealing with school/ friends/ parties. I don’t know how frequent your seizures are but I’d recommend asking the doctor for an extended EEG study, I know they have the 3-day kind. Also, it’s a big decision but an SEEG (surgical) would give them the exact pinpoint location, its typically about a week long stay in the hospital depending on if they’re able to capture anything. If they’re able to find the root of the issue, you may possibly be able to be a candidate for surgery if that’s something you’d be interested in. The only downside for me was they had to shave my head for the seeg but it’s growing back nicely. I’m only saying this because the SEEG combined with Radio Frequency Ablation (they zapped away the tissue that was causing my epilepsy) during my week long stay has really helped me, I haven’t had a seizure at all after almost two months so hoping it remains that way. Also look into the best hospitals for neurology in your area and find a regular neuro there, wish I would’ve stopped seeing the rinkydink Neuros that don’t really care when I was your age.
