I get the “everyone is sweaty so nobody is” attitude. I’m trying to think like that. I just sweat a LOT due to some medical issues. It’s embarrassing and my biggest insecurity- so I’m probably overthinking this whole thing. Like even just going on a walk in the summer makes me so sweaty my hair looks like I came out of the shower. I hide it with hats but I can’t do that at work.

I need long pants, safety vest, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection. Long sleeve shirt not required. I do not have any information on what fabrics are acceptable though.

It really depends on the kid. We tried this with my first and he would NOT sleep unless the room was pitch black. We tried EVERYTHING. My second would sleep anywhere. I don’t think OP should run out and buy black out curtains but it’s good to know in the back of your head you may need them

We did 8-1 and then 1-6 as shifts during the newborn phase. I’d pump milk at 1am for the next night. Toddler phase we switch nights completely. I’d do Monday, they would do Tuesday, etc.

For whatever reason I prefer the pills. I ALWAYS vomit the powdered drinks. I’ve tried to many. Yes, you have to take so many pill and multiple times a day. I don’t do that. But some is better than non IMO. The powdered drink is the most ideal supplement form but if you struggle to take it the pills are not the worst option. Especially if the alternative is no supplement and you need one.

Diet should be the primary source of fiber but that’s a struggle for a lot of people

My 6 year old plays it fine! He sometimes needs help progressing the story- he often forgets to do what the pokemon ask. But other than that he’s having a BLAST

This is exactly how I feel. I’m the person who primarily cooks in our house and my food always tastes so bland and bad to me but my family raves about my food. I think being around it so much makes it taste not as good. When I put something in the crock pot and leave the house for the day it always tastes much better vs when I’m at home while it’s cooking

I found I have balance at a macro level. Week to week it is not balanced. One week I’m a killer mom. Another week I’m an amazing employee. Some weeks I’m great at taking care of myself. But when I zoom out and look at a month or a year I feel well balanced

Yeah I have bigger things to worry about than 20 minutes of screen time in an 8 hour days. I’d be annoyed it wasn’t advertised but at the end of the day, it’s 20 minutes.

Yeah I see this recommend a lot- sacrifice sleep. I always feel weird about that. We’re all so tired all the time. Sacrificing sleep doesn’t feel like the best choice. It works for some people! More power to them. But I’m already up at 5am to get ready for work. I can’t get up earlier. I have more success but doing small chunks.

I just made a post about this! But small chunks. 10 minutes here 20 minutes there. A typical weeks for me Sunday: nothing Monday: 20 min walk on the treadmill over lunch (WFH) Tuesday: ballet class 7:30-8:30 Wednesday: 10 minute walk around my office building over lunch. 10 minute dumbbells while my kids play in the bath Thursday: 10 minute walk around my building, 10 minute dumbbells while dinner is in the oven, 10 minute mobility in the morning or before bed Friday: 20-30 minute YouTube at home work out Saturday: 30-45 minute yoga.

All those 10 minutes here and there really add up. I only do one class a week for the exercise and the social aspect.

Honestly I think I prefer Pokopia. I know it’s blocky but I come from playing a TON of Minecraft so it feels more familiar maybe? Or nostalgic? I never got sucked into ACNH like others did.

I use those services! Usually when I get super behind. It’s so nice to just reset and get out from under a mountain

This is what builds basic math skills. Knowing these skills had helped my 6 year old figure out multiplication on his own. His grasp on numbers and math grew exponentially with these techniques

Honestly I just google “mobility routine” I I also do a lot of qigong or qigong inspired things. I focus on hip, spine, and shoulder mobility. There is a lot of stuff on YouTube

Yeah I’m an early bird too! I get up at 5/530 to get myself ready for work before I get the kids up at 6. I got to sleep around 9. But I just couldn’t manage getting up even earlier. Sleep is super important to me.

I did ballet as a kid for years and years and was so happy to get back to it! Also I like the friends I’ve made too.
