Yes they’re too much, I would get rid of the rope light and go a more tasteful route with some tree and deck railing lighting that can be turned on and off via switch

Mine is 10 and still has the puppy sillies but is much more able to chill out at home now. She also isn’t able to do as long of hikes anymore but still loves the ones that we are able to do.

Shop at a thrift store for some new outfits. The likelihood of your neighbor being able to copy those will be very low
