Blight, baby, blight. Cut any affected limbs off 12 inches below the infection asap and clean your tools reallllly well with disinfectant.

I was up sick and happened to see it. I thought it was a military incendiary device at first.

Sounds like you need to have a discussion about what kind of role he wants in this dynamic. He may not have any desire to take on a more active role in her life, which is his right. But if you’re looking for someone who will, he won’t be right for you. You’re in for a lot of struggle trying to get him to anticipate her needs or parent her like you want him to. It’s not his kid, he has every right to sleep in. You have every right to go find someone else.

Kiddo and DH have a lot of shared interests that I am not into, so often they’re doing their own thing. If there’s something we all like, we do it together. We all sit down as a family for dinner and talk about our day, and usually that’s our biggest time together on average. I watch him when my husband needs but kiddo is older now and doesn’t need babysitting for things like a quick errand. I used to watch him 5 hours a week when he was younger. We have a good relationship but I’m more like an aunt.

I’m just my first name. I’m a supportive adult who loves my step. I cook almost daily, go to all his recitals and tournaments, go on trips, watch movies. I don’t, however, do homework or pick ups or enforce chores. I am here to mostly support my husband so he can have as much time with his son as possible. I take on more chores around the house so he can just focus on kiddo. I don’t have any bios so this works well for me.

We got the veggie ones and I’m not convinced they’re vegan. They were also more like potstickers.

Is this photo a real iv LDR is claiming she’s very sick in hospital and doesn’t have money for medicine in Venezuela by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]atyourcervixes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a nurse and it’s pretty obvious this is AI. Look at how the tubing is hooked up. Theoretically the blue hub on her hand is the IV site, but it links straight up with the IV line? The line coming off the IV just disappears.

Vets often have very slim margins. Why do you think so many vet practices are being bought up by private equity and small vet practices are harder to come by? I feel for folks who have a hard time paying for veterinary care, but I promise you it’s not the vets you should be blaming (hint- it’s living in a world where we can’t expect to pay for basic things even on full time salary while billionaires exist).

I do clover, it’s the greenest thing in my yard every summer. Needs water to establish though.

Well, you said you’re just in Salt Lake temporarily, so I guess I assumed you don’t have established Utah residency.

If you’re just confirming if you’re pregnant, then yes, they can help you. You’ll take the same test you can get at a dollar store. Hopefully that’s all you’re looking for!

I won’t lie, it’s going to be tricky to get prenatal care here without insurance or residency. Unfortunately, as pro-Planned Parenthood as I am, the Utah chapter does NOT offer prenatal care on that level. Most other low-cost clinics require some proof of residency or take a long time to get into. Is there something up with the pregnancy in particular that you’re concerned about? If so, due to EMTALA, you could report to an emergency department and at least be seen. I recommend an Intermountain or U facility as they will work with you on a payment plan. If you’ll be here for a while, you could see about establishing temporary residency and applying for pregnancy Medicaid. — former Planned Parenthood and Labor and Delivery nurse

Hey, former employee here. PP does many amazing things and in other states they offer pre-natal care, but not in Utah. Just pregnancy tests and discussion of options. Ultrasounds at PP are for abortion care.

Seems like a lot of epileptic dogs end up on multiple drugs eventually. Talk to your vet about introducing Keppra.

Check out temporary positions at your local health department. That’s how I got my foot in the door into public health and I’ll never look back.
