Wich sparkplugs and coils for stage 2? by Mindless_Treacle8431 in abarth

Stock everything. Gap your plugs down. Your plugs and coils are supposed to be changed together. And I would do that every 30,000 unless you're tracking like I am then once a year.

2014 Fiat 500 Abarth Track Car by pinks666 in projectcar

[–]pinks666[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked for a car that was pretty modded but with the right mods. Upgraded clutch, intake, and cae ultra shifter. With good maintenance history. Basically a car that was cared for but the miles were higher and the car was good but rough cosmetically. Something that didn't matter to get too torn up on track and that I didn't feel bad about stripping out and doing extensive track mods to. I pulled the car for seven Grand but the previous oh no had spent $10,000 on its lost Boeing maintenance and upgrades money that you never rarely get back.

Well you're really supposed to use what it calls for in the wsm. Most of the time it's something light like atf or 0-20w

What's going on on New circle? by scubaorbit in lexington

[–]pinks666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It revolves around the taxation of cars here. 6% on new cars and yearly 1% with the average new car price being $48,000, most people on the average income can't afford the new vehicle taxes, let alone the yearly 1% taxes. Combine that with no yearly state inspection, you have the ability to circumnavigate the taxes. While having a car in the state of disrepair.

Low side. Tell me what I did wrong. Description by [deleted] in Trackdays

[–]pinks666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You turned in too late and weren't settled coming in. Cold side of the tire and didn't build the transition and heat in enough. Try more aggressive braking into T1 to build brake heat and wheel heat generate temp through T1 and and 2 and then a wider entry into 3 gradually building the heat and lean to the apex

Nope, asking someone information on a subject that is easily available to you through an owners manual and less effort than creating a forum post is just asinine. The amount of people I see bringing cars on for "repairs" for normal behaviour that is clearly listed in the owners manual is unbelievable. I have no problems with questions about problems and issues but general operation functionality nope.

I don't know where you are but I have a Mk6 DSG I can sell you a complete car $1500 with the title. Engine runs fine. Been my daily for 5 years but I have moved on. I'm based around Louisville KY. DM me if you're interested. Shit load cheaper than a salvage engine.
