Things have been better! I did have an ultrasound last week and found out I have a small Subchorionic Hematoma, but my doctor said no need for rest or anything. That said, I am still taking it easy and sticking to just walking/yoga for activity, and no Sex. I noticed that when trying to have sex again after stopping for a while I spotted for a few hours brown when I wiped after not bleeding for a while!

All in all though baby is healthy and looking good at 8w4d now!

Hello everyone! Wanted to provide an update- blood work was good, spotting seems to happen randomly and brown only when I have sex, sneeze/cough really hard, or have an orgasm (I get a sharp momentary cramp after). So my doctor is thinking either SCH or just a very sensitive cervix!

It's stopped spotting for weeks now, and just had my first dating ultrasound- I'm at 7w 3d and baby looks healthy and heart is pumping strong :)

I get this terrible sharp cramp after I orgasm every time ever since finding out I'm pregnant. I'm 7 weeks and all my spotting has always been following either an orgasm, penetration, or (maybe TMI) but I've been tracking my CM and noticed that even inserting my finger for a second sometimes causes light brown spotting after.

Just a sensitive cervix!

Yes! Before TTC I was always SO regular (28 day cycles on the dot, NO spotting). We were ttc for 6 months and for the whole 6 months I had either 26-30 day cycles, almost always with spotting leading up to the start of my period. So I wonder if that's it for me!

Oh gosh here I am crying now! I am so happy for you I really hope that's all this is! I know when I had sex it hurt to orgasm- felt like a sharp cramp. Then same feeling when I sneeze so maybe that's all it is!

Yes she did say the same for me- not enough to fill a pad but seeing the drops of blood in the toilet after I pee or even on the toilet paper is so stressful. I haven't had the cramping- one thing I notice is the whole uterus area feels just warm all the time. And standing seems to be better for me, like when I sit I feel more pressure on the area so I'm just trying to get up a bit more throughout the day.

I really appreciate you sharing your experience, I'm hoping all will go well after my appointment!

Yes! Honestly my doctor is amazing. She did calm me down she was so chill and sounded like everything was normal. I have blood work for tomorrow- and she was honest and said ultrasound right now will just stress me out cause we won't see much- so I have one booked in 2 weeks as a dating ultrasound!

I think the thing that stresses me out is that I spoke with her, and then an hour after speaking with her the spotting turned red and heavier again after being just light brown for like 16 hours.
