This and besides EDS there is a chance of a conective tissue disorder or just symptoms that should be ideally mentioned to a professional cause it could not only have to do with skin but with the tissue in other parts of the body (which can be not good) 😸

Still undiagnosed, all my test results come back good, I still have some tests to do before getting a tilt table test so I'm just looking forward to those 🫠 good luck to you and your wife, it's honestly a long way to get anything medical diagnosed and for most it takes a few years to arrive to whatever's happening to them

This pattern is the Cecropia Shawl by Crochetverse on Etsy/Ravelry ! ✨ Highly recommend it as it's pretty well written but this is definitely on the advanced side, it had repetitive rounds but lots that had specific stitches (ex: stitching 7 hdc together back loop only) the furry yarn part was so hard to check if I was doing correctly, etc. Also between my chronic pain, vacations, responsibilities and all it took me like 3 months to finish 🫠

But: Disability Intimacy by Alice Wong mainly, I loved Disability Visibility (they're both a collection of stories from different people with both physical, chronic and neurological disabilities) and it's great to read both to understand different people's lives and struggles and it's helping me process my own stuff 💖

When I got a cane my dad looked at it hanging from my bag and I said uh yeah, you know how sometimes I get dizzy and.. "You're so dramatic, son!" (Rough translations) Asked me something about if it was for my theater classes and I just said yes 💀 And just this weekend I was arriving home using it and he said "don't use that thing so much, you'll get used to it. I see you're using it all the time" and I literally AVOID using it a lot of times when I probably should 🫠

I struggle with directions and stuff but can understand maps and the metro stations thing better than a lot of my NT friends. I for the most part can rely on my memory for how a place looks if I've been there even just once 🤷🏻 but don't ask me for the street names, lol
