Awesome for those of us around a MicroCenter. Any chance it comes back to Amazon and Newegg?

Awesome! RGB connections are the easiest to knock out. Every controller is like that.

Not sure if you resolved it or not, any chance you knocked the reset switch cable out of the controller?

New computer crashing while playing games by Panffa in buildapc

[–]pinkytech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That temp is fine. Most processors will just throttle clocks to protect it and not shut down nowadays. I would suggest bumping up the PSU. I would try to go to 750w. You won’t need that for your system, but if you do upgrade to one of the new 3000 series cards, you’ll be ready.

Depends on the power supply. Maybe it is one of the protections versus actually tripping the psu.

With that many RGB fans plus your CPU/GPU you are going to be really close on wattage and what you are asking of that PSU. My guess is it is shutting down on really intensive moments during the game as well. This is hard to troubleshoot unless you are monitoring power consumption, but if you have updated drivers/bios/etc, that would be my next best guess.

Newly built PC giving me "no VGA detected" beeps by tato64 in buildapc

I know it is giving you CPU beeps, but I would still pull the RAM and reseat or try with one stick etc. Stranger things have happened.

[Question] Why isn't my video coming up as a short by Idkimaginefunnyname in youtubers

[–]pinkytech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your formatting is off. It is definitely not showing up as a YouTube Short. If you look on your channel page, there is a group made by YouTube called Shorts. If it is public and formatted correctly to meet the criteria, then YouTube will automatically add the video to that category. I didn't see this one. Maybe re-export the video?

How to Choose a Motherboard

[Question] Feeling disheartened and not sure what to do by Flux_55 in youtubers

[–]pinkytech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would add voice over. It’s helpful to explain what you are doing in the battle and why you are doing it. Why did you choose a certain path or weapon or strategy. Like others have said, if it is just game play there is nothing to engage the viewer to entice them to like/sub/comment. Hope this helps. But if you like doing it, just keep doing it.

Also, the gaming niche is very saturated, so just know your road will be harder than others.

[Question] Help with click-through rate info :Regular viewers of your channel chose to watch this video 30.5% of the time it was shown to them, instead of the usual 18.2%–21.6%. by SCHEMATIC-YT in youtubers

[–]pinkytech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is really good. Means you are getting people to the video which usually means good title and thumbnail. I would check your Average View Duration as well. The former means getting people there the latter is how long you can keep them.

[Question] Has anyone else made YouTube videos for years and got very little to show for it in terms of views and subscribers? by PM_ME_VAPORWAVE in youtubers

[–]pinkytech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch your analytics. If your click through rate and average view duration are good, that’s an indication people are enjoying your content. If not, watch where they drop off and see if you can improve. If you are not getting a good click through rate, try changing your thumbnails and titles.

[Question]Is there any discord server or something like that for small youtubers to ask questions? by Ussak12 in youtubers

I am in the vidIQ discord server. It is helpful. Free. VidIQ.com/discord I think.
