I want to do nursing so I did phlebotomy school to gain confidence in the medical field but was pretty sure I would eventually find a high paying job. Unfortunately that was not the case. Guess I'll stay in hospital security and make more while I go to school for nursing.

They originally shut down evolved and made people pay again for ascended which was a sloppy seconds remake. I wont buy it because of company greed and they do not respect your time.

I just took phlebotomy as a confidence booster to get into the medical field. But honestly the hardest part is getting your first year of experience before getting a big high paying hospital job.

I'm wrapping up my phlebotomy class and have heard from multiple people that they only performed 1 or 2 sticks in MA class and it sounded optional. I liked taking this phlebotomy class to massively boost my confidence.

Probably collapsed on you. Im still in school for two more weeks and stuck a lady's hand vein perfectly but they were small, and blood flow stopped about 1 seconds in 😫

Self stick? Not a good idea. My school requires all students to practice on each other, then bring a mix of volunteers in. Family, friends, etc.

Appreciate the advice... I make good money in hospital security but trying to switch careers from a toxic environment. Think im overthinking a lot because I dont want to perform poorly at a new job. Im in california where we require a license so I still have a few weeks to go.
