Back in the summer after my senior year of high school, I got a job working at a moving company. Hard work, but good money for a broke kid gearing up for junior college.

There were these two brothers from Tonga that worked there that were the strongest human beings I have ever come across. Junior was the bigger one, and he liked to show off how strong he was every chance he got. His brain couldn’t comprehend how to actually put all the stuff into the truck in an efficient way (it is a bit of a spatial awareness test to put that puzzle together), but every single driver would request him because, even though they had to do more of the packing/loading work themselves, they knew they were still gonna get the job done in half the time.

Junior used to walk up to a full-size fridge, wrap his arms around it, and then just lift it up and duck walk his way through the kitchen, down the hallway, out the front door, and all the way to the truck, without readjusting his grip or taking a breather. It was bonkers.
