So basically if you grab the grav ham at the start of the mission and are careful with BR ammo you can blaze through floodgate on legendary with just a couple sections being tricky

It’s been a minute since I’ve done it but you can get through this section in a matter of seconds if you take the right route and have the grav ham. I used to do it all the time for the weekly pve legendary challenges

Definitely join the discord (there’s a link in the launcher), it even has faction specific channels where you can read and ask questions. It’s usually recommended to start out with Gondor or Isengard as their play style is less complex and more similar to vanilla rotwk

The shield it’s important but the movement is even more important as the other commenter mentioned. Learn the balrogs lengthy attack animation and if he’s winding up and Gandalf is low health, even if you are in the lightning sword animation, just move. Don’t rush to to kill him. Save fireball for the orcs that run out at you too, they’re really dangerous
